day six...

we took the boys back to huntington beach in the daytime.

parker loves the ocean! nate likes it but wont marry it.

***strep update-i slept from saturday 8pm until sunday 11.30am. i was that sick. there aren't any photos of the way home but it went something like this...

i fell asleep as soon as we were on i-15 in california. woke up in vegas to pee. slept until the middle of utah.***

day 5...taking it easy...

with me finally on an antibiotic, we took today easy. the boys tried to swim in the pool (as chris got to judge their dives.)and i slept.

when we left the hotel, we headed to huntington beach.

the kids loved watching the surfers.

mostly because the surfers weren't very good and kept falling.

the boys had their very first gelato.

they weren't impressed.

this we found HYSTERICAL!

this cute girl was stuck trying to get people to come into some mexican restaurant dressed like a taco!

it reminded us of a snl sketch with justin timberlake. i would post it here but i cant find it.

***strep update-still sick. made the kids sleep on the pull out bed (our room had 2 queens and a pull out) so i could have a bed to myself. best. decision. ever.

day 4 part 2...
